Group and Exclusive Venue Booking Terms and Conditions

Beverages & the Service of Alcohol

Knock Knock is a fully licensed Hastings Street restaurant and so alcohol purchased outside of the venue is not permitted in the restaurant. Knock Knock operates in accordance with responsible service of alcohol regulations in Queensland. Knock Knock team members will cease the service of all alcohol to any intoxicated person(s) without liability.

Pricing

Menu pricing will be quoted at the time of the initial booking, but may be subject to change. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.

Deposit

A pre-authorisation holding fee is required to confirm all group bookings and a deposit is required to confirm an exclusive venue booking. One week’s notice of the cancellation of your function must be given to avoid being charged the pre-authorisation holding fee, or to receive a refund of the deposit.

Payment

Payment of a group or exclusive venue bookings can be made in full prior to the event.  Otherwise, all outstanding amounts in addition to the deposit are to be be made on the date of the event. We accept Cash, Direct Deposit, Mastercard and Visa.

Final Numbers

Final guest numbers are required one week prior to the event for staffing and catering requirements.

Seating Arrangements 

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that group functions will be seated in the balcony areas, unless the venue has been booked for exclusive use. 

Entertainment

Knock Knock has a surround sound system to provide background music. DJs and live musicans can be arranged for exclusive use venue bookings.

Sound levels

Noise levels generated from the restaurant must not exceed 75 Dbs. This includes noise generated from both guests and music for the duration of all events.

 

Knock Knock reserves the right to cease any activity in the restaurant that does not abide by the restrictions set out above or any activity that places the business at risk of being in breach of lease and liquor licensing agreements.

 

For group booking, we ask that guests take into consideration the comfort of other diners in the restaurant during the event.  This includes sound levels but also seating arrangements.

Audio Visual Equipment

Knock Knock has a large project screen and cordless microphones for use during exclusive use venue bookings only.  As a courtesy to other diners, speeches and audio/visual presentations are not permitted in the restaurant for general group bookings that are not exclusive venue bookings.

Responsiblity

Damage sustained to any of Knock Knock’s property is the responsibility of the customer who makes the group or exclusive venue booking. Knock Knock does not take any responsibility for items that are left in the restaurant before or after the function or any items damaged during the function.

Hiring of Equipment

The customer who makes the group or exclusive venue booking is responsible for the cost, care and transportation of any external hiring of equipment used during the event. These items must be removed at the conclusion of the event. 

Disturbances

The protection of our staff and patrons is extremely important to the management of Knock Knock Noosa. Any person(s) that are causing a disturbance within the restaurant, or are seen as a risk to staff or other patrons will be asked to leave the venue, or where necessary, be removed by security without liability.
